The 400 sq. feet mosaic mural called ‘The Tree of knowledge’ was made by Mrs. Gursharan Kaur, Fine Arts teacher of the school and her students.

It holds a special place not only for the school but also for Chandigarh as it was inaugurated on 15^th April 2015 by Late Padma Shri Nek Chand ji a little before his demise. It shows a tree portraying school children with roots firmly grounded in the soil. The tree is sprouting out with new leaves reaching towards the sun, depicting vast knowledge. A book in between shows spreading of the knowledge and values into the world.  This tree is being watered by the able hands of the teacher, who is also the mother and the facilitator in the enclosed environment of the school.The safe domain of the school has been shown by the fence of pencils, the books, football, eraser, etc. The corner shows the fountain of life which nourishes the children with the nectar and gives them wings to fly towards the unlimited sky.
