WORK UNDER DISASTER MANGEMENT PLAN

  (GMSSS-33D)

                    

Since school lies in the seismic zone 4 which makes it highly susceptible to earthquake.

So after assessing hazard risk and vulnerability Disaster Management Committee is formed under various teams–

• Awareness and Information dissemination team (mostly class teachers)
• Evacuation team
• Search and Rescue team
• Fire safety team
• First Aid team
• Site security team.

Mechanism

• Installation of alarm
• School map with evacuation plan is displayed
• Important phone number are displayed at reception
• Regular Mock drills
• Training teachers.
